About Cmbes

The CMBES mailing list is a service of the Canadian Medical and Biological Engineering Society. The mailing list has been establish to facilitate discussion and communication among those interested and involved in Biomedical Engineering in Canada, and around the world. This mailing list is unmoderated, so basically you can say anything you want, and get away with it...at least for a while. CMBES will monitor the signal/noise ratio of this list. It is polite to let the list know who you are when you subscribe. Please includea few lines about who you are, what you do and who you do it for (i.e. a .sig) with each posting. We are generally a friendly bunch so please send us a brief "hello" message with a short bio of yourself to introduce yourself to the list members. Please feel free to send any comments to the current list owner "plawes@sbgh.mb.ca". To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Cmbes Archives. The current archive is only available to the list members.

Using Cmbes

To post a message to all the list members, send email to cmbes@mailman.sbgh.mb.ca. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.

Subscribing to Cmbes

Subscribe to Cmbes by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the members list is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   You must enter a privacy password. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
